Career & Job Resources Worth A Peek

Hi friends of J.T. & Dale Talk Jobs!

With the job loss rates steadily increasing, I thought I’d take a moment to put out a list of some additional resources (besides our own site of course!) that can help with job search.

www.LinkUp.com - is a site that pulls all the job postings on the internet directly from business websites. So, you’ll find jobs that AREN’T listed on the major sites like Monster.com, Job.com, etc.

The Work Buzz - This is Careerbuilder.com’s new workplace blog and it is excellent. Patrick Erwin is doing an amazing job of bringing fresh news and content to it’s readers.

Career Examiner - Heather, the journalist for this column offers lots of great advice weekly. Her latest includes what to do BEFORE, DURING & AFTER a Job Lay-Off.

CAREEREALISM.com - Over at my own career blog, we are shaking things up BIG TIME by offering refreshingly real advice and lots of resources. We even have our own ‘live’ career show where you can get your career questions answered. Be sure to sign-up by e-mail to get the updates.

Here’s one of our top posts: 10 Career Tips (Than NOBODY Ever Tells You)

AND, our new Career Branding Program is a virtual members-only career center that provides private career coaching to participants.

Momentor.com - If you sign up for their beta site, each week, they research and do a ‘best of the blogs’ where they sum up smart career advice given by others. It’s short and helpful. No SPAM - just good stuff.

I hope these help. And, if you have any you’d like to share with fellow readers, please feel free to post them below!

despite all the stats, I still see thousands of high paying jobs posted on job sites.

    http://www.linkedin.com (professional networking)
    http://www.indeed.com (aggregated listings)
http://www.realmatch.com (matches jobs based on your skills)

Good look to those looking for work!
